My name is Billy Hutchens and I am a student at the University of Notre Dame. I do not consider any one place my hometown because I have moved around a bit throughout my life. I was born in Los Angeles but moved to Kentucky shortly after. At the age of two my family moved to Houston where we spent ten years. About half way through seventh grade we moved to Davis, CA because of a job that my Dad had accepted at UC Davis. Roughly three years later we moved farther south to Silicon Valley where I now live in Mountain View, CA. I went to high school at Davis High School for two years and then finished high school in San Jose where I graduated from Bellarmine College Preparatory, a Jesuit institution.

I am interested in studying business here at the University of Notre Dame, I will most likely become a finance major, but law school is lingering in the back of my mind as well. Over the past two summers and Christmas breaks I have worked at a law firm in downtown Palo Alto. My hobbies and recreational activities include soccer, lacrosse, and playing the guitar. I have a little brother who is in eighth grade. My Mom is a paralegal and my Dad now runs a biotech firm after about 15 years of being a professor at various academic institutions.
